Russian Scientific Program

In 2021, a national program for advanced experimental research on MBIR for the period 2028-2040 was approved, which assumes that the demand of Russian organizations for the reactor resource of MBIR is about 50% of the total irradiation capabilities of MBIR.

Based on the national program, an international research program at the MBIR reactor will be formed. For this purpose the Advisory Board was created, consisting of the leading Russian and foreign atomic industry experts. New experimental capabilities for the reactor are discussed on an ongoing basis as part of the IRC MBIR Advisory Board's work.
